By boat, by foot, by horse riding, by bicycle, jeep, quad… you can go everywhere with total freedom to discover a beautiful and wild nature. Tropical forests, fabulous coconuts’ plantations, extraordinary and exuberant vegetation… The ocean floors are the most beautiful of the Atlantic coast of the island and you will be agreeably surprised by the splendid coral gardens, labyrinths, turtles, eagle rays… a diving school is located in the center of the village (http://www.las-galeras-divers.com). A Japanese man and his team also propose to dive on the open water in a natural aquarium where thousands of fish are living. One of the most beautiful attractions of the area is naturally to assist from mid- January to mid- March to the fabulous spectacle of the humpback whales which come in the warm waters of the bay of Samaná to mate and to give birth before to come back to the Far North with their babies. The beaches of the Peninsula are magic because still wild. Rincón Beach, bordered of coconut trees, Playa Frontón with the unique charm of its cliff and its caves, Playa El Valle, from where you can join by foot while walking along the river side bordered of banana trees, coffee-trees and bamboos… the Lulú water fall. Cayo Levantado, small tropical island, offers a paradisiacal beach, like a perfect postcard. The El Limón cascade with its waterfall of forty meters whose walls are covered with moss also merits to be known, just like the Los Haïtises National park, the largest of the Dominican Republic.
